Duck Pond Linocut Block Print in Teal

This original lino print, "Duck Pond," was printed by hand using a linocut block. This process begins by hand-carving a linoleum block with an image, then inking the block and using special hand tools to print the image onto the paper. This block is printed on soft, heavyweight 100% cotton Stonehenge printmaking paper that is acid-free and archival. Linocut printing is a lovely process that allows the paper to pick up some of the stray marks (or "chatter") left intentionally on the block when carving. Each print is signed and dated.
