Garden Birds Linocut Print

This original art print, "Garden Birds," was printed by hand using a linocut block. To begin this process, I carve an image into a linoleum block with small tools, then proof the block until I get the image just right. I hand-mix all of my ink colors using non-toxic Cranfield inks. I apply ink to the block and then use pressure to print the image onto the paper. This block is printed on premium quality 100% cotton printmaking paper that is acid-free and archival. Linocut printing is a lovely process that allows the paper to pick up some of the stray marks (or "chatter") left intentionally on the block. Each print is signed and dated by me.

Because I use the highest quality archival materials, your print will last a lifetime.
