Kingfisher Linocut Block Print

This original art print, "Kingfisher," was printed on an etching press with hand-carved linocut blocks. I begin this process by drawing my image, transferring it to the linoleum block, and then carving the block with small hand tools. I then ink the block and use the press to print the image onto the paper. This block is printed on premium heavyweight (320 gsm) Stonehenge printmaking paper that is acid-free and archival. I mix all of my colors by hand, using Cranfield non-toxic oil-based inks. I use the highest quality materials so that my prints will last a lifetime.

This print is shipped in a rigid mailing tube. It ships via USPS with tracking, and faster shipping is available as an upgrade at checkout. Prints will relax and lie flat after unrolling and allowing them to rest for a couple of days.
