Diving Duck Linocut Block Print in Blue

This original art print, "Diving Duck," was printed by hand using a linocut block. This process begins by hand-carving a linoleum block with an image, then inking the block and using the press or hand tools to print the image onto the paper. This block is printed on premium Legion printmaking paper that is acid-free and archival (250 gsm). Linocut printing is a lovely process that allows the paper to pick up some of the stray marks (or "chatter") left intentionally on the block. Each print is signed and dated.

Printed in a rich blue ink on soft white paper that is heavyweight (250 gsm) and acid-free. I use lightfast Cranfield inks and archival cotton papers so that my prints will last a lifetime.
