Magpie Linocut Block Print

This original Magpie art print was printed on an etching press with hand-carved linocut blocks. This process begins by carving a linoleum block with an image, then inking the block and using the press to print the image onto the paper. This block is printed on premium heavyweight (320 gsm) Stonehenge printmaking paper that is acid-free and archival. Linocut printing is a lovely process that allows the paper to pick up some of the stray marks (or "chatter") left intentionally on the block.

This print is shipped in a rigid mailing tube. It ships via USPS with tracking, and faster shipping is available as an upgrade at checkout. Prints will relax and lie flat after unrolling and allowing them to rest for a couple of days.
