Butterfly Garden Handmade Miniature Book

This miniature book tells you how to build your own butterfly garden. Made in the "secret room" structure, this is a single printed sheet that folds down into a tiny book with a handmade paper cover. This book has images and text printed on both sides of the page and a "secret room" with additional text that appears when you open it a certain way. Images are digital prints of a linoleum block print of butterflies and a moth, with a couple of my favorite nature quotations. The reverse side features a botanical illustration with a recipe to build your own backyard butterfly garden with easy-to-find plants.

Each book is sewn together by hand with a pamphlet stitch using linen bookbinding thread. The cover is made from handmade paper. The inside sheet is printed on archival soft white paper from the French Paper Company in Niles, Michigan. Books open out to 6" by 12" and fold down to a neat 3" square. Available with your choice of cover paper, denim blue or bright pink.

SHIPPING
Miniature books are shipped in a cellophane sleeve, inside a padded mailed to ensure safe delivery. Standard USPS First Class shipping (2-6 business days) includes a tracking number. For faster shipping, please select USPS Priority at checkout.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
The most economical method of shipping is in a standard flat envelope, mailed with global forever stamps and no tracking number. If you'd like a tracking number, please upgrade your shipping at checkout. Current USPS shipping times are 10+ business days for shipping outside the US. If you need faster shipping, please convo me for a quote before you purchase. If you wish to order multiple items, I am happy to put together a special order for you to save on shipping costs.
