This original art print, "Hummingbird," is part of a new series of mini linocut prints--they're great for grouping together on a wall, or filling in small spaces. When I print with linocuts, I begin by drawing an image onto the linoleum block and then carving the block with small hand tools. I then print the image onto the paper by inking the block by hand and using a baren to apply pressure and transfer the image. I use premium quality archival papers and inks, which means that your print will last a lifetime. Choose your color option from the drop-down menu.

WHAT ARE SECONDS?
Seconds are good quality prints that have a small flaw -- flaws may include a small area that was inked more lightly than I intended, a smudge outside the print area that could be hidden by framing, or might be slightly over-inked. See detail photos for a examples of flaws--most of this set have small areas where the printing was lighter than I intended, leaving a slight speckled texture in the background. Often this texture is desirable--it just wasn't planned for this edition.

Print seconds are all of displayable quality and are a great way to get a nice print at a bargain price. All seconds are signed and dated, just like my other prints.
